About Us

This page was created by a group of friends who, besides sharing memes on WhatsApp at 2 a.m., share something even stronger: a happy obsession with Mexico. We’re fans of Mexican culture—its events, its food, its celebrations, its legends, and of course, that magical mix of humor and warmth you can feel in every corner of the country.

We’re not historians, food critics, or travel gurus (though we love to brag as if we were). We’re simply a group of friends who want to tell stories, share experiences, and have a laugh while talking about everything that makes Mexico unique: from the street tacos on the corner to the most famous festival, including magical towns, curious traditions, and the little details that sometimes go unnoticed.

Who are we?

Imagine a group of friends around a long table filled with dishes, with music in the background and constant laughter—that’s where this page comes from. Each one of us brings something different:

  • The foodie: that friend who always knows where the best tacos are, which street food stand is “the real deal,” and which café has the tastiest concha in the city. Their mission on this page is to take you on a tour of the most flavorful side of Mexico.
  • The fan of parties and events: the one who knows the dates of every festival, fair, carnival, and dance. If there’s a parade, concert, street party, or town celebration, they’re there. Their challenge is to convince you to go out, dance, and enjoy what’s happening in the streets.
  • The curious one: loves researching legends, strange stories, fun facts, and anecdotes almost no one knows. They bring all the “Did you know…?” questions to the table, which turn into fun, information-packed articles here.
  • The person who jokes about everything: they can’t help but add a funny comment to any topic. Their job here is to make sure every article has a touch of humor and that reading about Mexican culture is never boring.

What will you find here?

This page is meant to be a space where you can learn something new about Mexico, but also have a good time. We want to combine useful information, love for the culture, and light humor. Some of the types of content we’ll be sharing include:

  • Food articles: stories of traditional dishes, reviews of places we visit, curiosities about ingredients, and guides to understand why tacos are never eaten with cutlery (and why pineapple on al pastor is absolutely allowed).
  • Travel and city stories: anecdotes from our trips to different states, magical towns, beaches, mountains, and lively neighborhoods. More than formal travel guides, these will be friendly chronicles—what we liked, what surprised us, and what made us laugh.
  • Culture and traditions: simple, fun explanations of celebrations, legends, customs, and holidays. We want you to feel like coming to Mexico if you’ve never been—and wanting to return if you have.
  • Lists and recommendations: from “top snacks you must try” to “things that only happen in a Mexican market.” All told in the tone of friends sharing their favorite secrets.

Our style: information with smiles

Our goal isn’t just to inform but to connect. We want you to feel like you’re chatting with friends who love Mexico and want to show it to you without pretense, without excessive formality, and with lots of laughs along the way. Every text we publish is meant to be clear, entertaining, and friendly—like we’re sitting at the same table sharing an order of tacos.

We take the information seriously (we like researching and verifying what we share), but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. That’s why you’ll find jokes, spontaneous comments, and the occasional bad punchline… because that’s just who we are in real life.

Why Mexico?

Because Mexico inspires and enchants us. We love its cuisine, ranging from the simplest to the most elaborate; its colors, seen in the streets, markets, and celebrations; its music, heard on every corner; and its people, who manage to laugh even in difficult times.

This page is our way of saying “thank you, Mexico” and of sharing with others—both inside and outside the country—everything that makes this land special. If reading our articles leaves you hungry, curious, or eager to plan your next trip, then we’re doing things right.

So make yourself at home, explore, laugh, save your favorite articles, and most of all, join us on this journey full of flavor, music, stories, and good humor. Welcome to our page… and let the Mexican adventure begin.
